Steele begins a romance with his pretty, new neighbor who is his biggest defender...until she starts to wonder if he is the man she thought he was. Starring Humphrey Bogart and Gloria Grahame. The Kinderhook Memorial Library has just the class for you!  On Saturday, February 18 at 4:00PM,  we’ll discuss how to access current web, multimedia and print resources available through the Mid-Hudson Library System on medical con­ditions, exercise and fitness, nutrition, and more.  Be ready to explore the latest in cook books, web resources and exercise DVD’s. These free resources will be available for checkout at the end of the session, so be sure to bring your library card!  We're even planning a few recipes for you to sample and try in your own kitchen. This free event is geared for adults.

Voyage to Antarctica with Sue Chiafullo

Longing to travel? Break away from the New York winter with a vicarious trip to Antarctica. Sue Chiafullo, Kinderhook resident and Friend of the Library, will share photos of her travels to the bottom of the world. Sue’s passion for travel was fueled by her career in advertising that often took her to exotic locations. After years of living life on the road, she retired from ad agency life and became an independent producer and marketing consultant.

Our next series of eleven Basic Computer Skills classes will be offered this spring on Tuesday mornings. The classes are designed for people with little or no computer experience and the topics vary each week. Some of the topics covered are an introduction to computers, the Internet, setting up email, and office productivity software for word processing, spreadsheets and presentations.
