Donations Deliver

The Friends of the Library are accepting donations for the June Book Sale. Your unwanted but much loved books deliver funds to support library programs. Fiction, non-fiction, and children’s books in good condition will be gratefully accepted during regular library hours from May 1 to June 1. Tattered, worn or out-dated textbooks and manuals should be recycled. Please call ahead if you have a large donation or need assistance.

Across the Digital Divide: eBook Readers 2.0

Has that new iPad, Kindle or Nook proven troublesome? Do you have trouble downloading your library e-books? Rest assured you are not alone. In the past few months the Mid-Hudson Library System witnessed a jump in eBook usage. Consequently we’ve noticed a jump in the number of patrons looking for e-book reader troubleshooting tips. Based upon this latest trend, we will reprise last year’s introductory program for e-book readers.

Library Closed for Children's Room Installation

We have great news to share! Our new Children's Room installation will be Tuesday, May 22! The library will be closed for the day and reopen Wednesday, May 23 at 10:00 AM. Due to our shortened hours, we will backdate all items returned between the evening of Sunday, May 20 and the morning of Wednesday, May 23. Plans are in the works for a grand opening reception later this spring. Stay tuned!

Magic the Gathering: May Schedule

There are a few changes to the Magic the Gathering schedule for the month of May. Due to the Teen Stick It Night, the group will not meet Friday, May 11th. The group will also take off Friday, May 25th for Memorial Day Weekend.
