Come see the Kinderhook Kick Me's! in action on Saturday, September 11 starting at 9:00am at Hudson High School, when they compete in the 2010 Battle of the Books! Over 20 teams from the Mid Hudson Library System will gather on Saturday to answer trivia questions based on 8 books they all read over the summer. This year's team members are Alicia Armstrong, Sarah Quinn Dempsey, Katie Gibson, Maggie Gibson, Astrid Montagano, Margaret Richards, and Sorrel Rowley. The Kick Me's! have been working hard all summer and are ready to stick it to the competition.
Battle of the Books is a nationally recognized literature contest which encourages young people to get involved with great literature, work together as a team and then gather with other teens in the spirit of friendly competition to test their knowledge.
