Join the Friends of the Library for a special Book Sale at the Civil War Days: Living History Encampment sponsored by the Columbia County Historical Society. The sale will take place at the Luykas Van Alen House on Route 9H in Kinderhook Saturday and Sunday, May 21 & 22 from 9am until 4pm. Fine quality selection of books featuring Military, Americana and American History will be available.

Join us on Saturday morning when we will be serving a light bagel breakfast at the Library as part of our National Library Week celebrations. Don't forget or fret: it's not too late to buy raffle tickets for the NOOK! The drawing will be held on Saturday at 4pm at the Friends Group Meeting. 

To help celebrate National Library Week, The Friends of the Library will be raffling off a Barnes & Noble Nook. Raffle tickets are 1 for $1 and 6 for $5, and can be purchased at the circulation desk. Don't miss out on the chance to win one of the most popular e-readers compatible with the Library system. The winner will be anounced at the Friends Meeting on Saturday, April 16 at 4pm.

To all of our loyal Magic: The Gathering members, please note the following schedule changes for upcoming gatherings. Magic will meet on Sunday, February 27, March 12 and 27. Magic will not meet on March 6 and March 20 due to conflicts with other events at the Library. We are sorry for these changes in the schedule.
