The Kinderhook Memorial Library needs YOU as a FRIEND!
WHO are the Friends?
Friends of the Kinderhook Memorial Library is a volunteer organization established to support the Library as a resource in our community.
WHAT will the Friends do?
Friends will volunteer at the library;
We will support the Trustees and the Director;
We will promote awareness of library services and programs in the community;
We will plan and sponsor Library programs and lectures;
We will help raise funds to support library services, programs and capital projects.
WHY do we need Friends?
Friends are needed to volunteer their time, to support Library projects, programs and activities large and small, and to help fund expanded programs.
WHERE can Friends help most?
We need volunteers to partner with the Trustees and Director to help the Library serve our community.
Our aim is to help provide a stronger and more vital Library presence in our community.
Projects might include such things as assisting with the book sale, establishing an author's lecture series, and organizing musical concerts.
